Lovely Little Details

I couldn't help it, I had to spotlight all the little things that made our wedding day so pretty.  The dress, the shoes, the accessories, the flowers, the cake, etc....we planned every little detail.  All vintage inspired and all so lovely!

Lace, I love lace

They were the perfect compliment to my dress

Just a little bubbly to calm the nerves

My bracelet and garter...both handmade by my wonderful friends

Hair and make up details...it was a treat to be pampered
Boutonnieres of Craspedia Billy Balls!  So Cute!

Justin's ring is hand carved from Meteorite, yes....the falling star stuff,
My band was handmade to match my gorgeous engagement ring.

The ties were a perfect way to bring in the yellow and navy colors

Handmade by the same friend who made my bracelet, the cuff links
are customized with the  groomsmen's zodiac signs

I love the perspective here, with Justin in the background

Justin LOVES Converse, we had to go with navy Converse,
and the guys looked so dapper
Shay Brown did a beautiful job with ALL the flowers, my bouquet was gorgeous
So in love with Craspedia Billy Balls!

Again, Shay Brown.... I love the tree trunks

This was our sweet little table
I added touches of chalk boards everywhere... here, at the front table, at the bar, at the ceremony

Mmmmmm....cake!  Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting

My Dad made the cake stand, it was so sweet...thanks Dad
And the champagne glasses were my Mom and Dad's, from their wedding day

Another awesome perspective by Mr. Kenneth Myers

The room glowed, it all came together so well

We made the hanging Pom Poms.... gotta love neat and crafty tips from Martha Stewart

Just a little something for the ones we lost

I collected tons of candle votives, all different shapes and sizes

Wine, beer, food.... all so yummy

I'm also in love with Milk Glass, another sweet vintage touch

the blue tinted glass was another great addition from Ms. Shay Brown

B&W

The food was so Good!

And so pretty!

Our Wedding Album

First...we need to say thank you to everyone that made our wedding day so special.  Thank you to my girls, Norine, Cassie, Marlaine, Kelly, Aryn, Katie, Erica and Betsy...for all your support and crafty ways.  Thank you to the gentlemen, Vijay, Jason, Nick, Robert, Justin and Jared for your talents and support.  Thank you to our families for traveling to be a part of it, and for all your love.  Thank you to our friends for sharing this day and our lives with us.  Thank you to our amazing wedding vendors, Kelly Giezentanner Photographs, Kenneth Myers Photography, Shay Brown Events & Celine & Co., you are experts at your craft.  And thank you to Mom & Dad, your marriage is our inspiration, we will always look to you for guidance and love.

We love living in Asheville, being surrounded by mountains.  This is where we met and fell in love.  We chose Sherrill's Inn for our ceremony because we wanted our friends and families to see how gorgeous it is here.  Our mountain backdrop was exactly what we wanted, and we're glad we got to share that with all of you.  But we also love our quaint, funky, "don't be bashful, it's Asheville" downtown.  And by having our reception downtown we were able to give you the best of both worlds.  We hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and enjoyed visiting our home.

We couldn't have asked for more.  It was truly the most beautiful day of our lives, and these images capture it perfectly.
